Lois “Glenanne” Caw, 78, born in St. Joseph, MO on September 1, 1938, to the late John Curtis and Mary Louise (Burlington) Oldham, passed away in her home August 9, 2017.

Glenanne was a member of the Lady’s Auxiliary for the KCFD. She worked in the cafeteria of the North Kansas City School district for a number of years as well as in several retail positions at the Metro North Mall. Glenanne loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved to do crafts and give out gifts to all she knew and became friends with. She also enjoyed finding a good auction when she could.

In addition to her parents, Glenanne is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Emmett Dale Caw; brother, John Lawrence Oldham and granddaughter, Laura McClendon.

She leaves behind her daughter, Cathy Calia and husband Ben; son, Curt Caw; 5 grandchildren, Scott, Sashia, Amber, Aaron and Selesta; 6 great-grandchildren, Tyler, Heith, Jett, Jaxon, Soraya and Cash as well as many nieces, nephews and loved ones.

Visitation will be at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 169 Hwy & Shoal Creek Pkwy, on Tues., Aug. 15 from 5-7 PM. Funeral arrangements have been made at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel, 3609 Frederick Ave., St. Joseph, MO on Wed., Aug. 16 at 10 AM. Burial in St. Joseph Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society.
