Billy M. Shelley, 87 of Kansas City, MO died peacefully on Monday, February 9, 2015. Services will be private. Memorial Contributions suggested to the American Cancer Society.
He was born in Omaha, NE, March 28, 1927. Billy proudly served in the U.S. Navy during World War II; and spent his career as a Fireman, earning the rank of Captain for the Kansas City Fire Department.
He is preceded in death by his parents Jack and Jennie (Gregg) Shelley and his wife Barbara. Survivors include son, Gary Shelley and his wife Denise, 2 granddaughters, and 5 great-grandchildren. Services entrusted to Terrace Park Funeral Home & Cemetery.
