Faith Schneider

July 30, 1998 — March 27, 2015

Faith Elizabeth Schneider, 16, of Smithville, MO, born in North Kansas City, MO on July 30, 1998 was called home by our Lord and Savior on Friday, March 27, 2015. She was diagnosed July 2013 with Stage 4 Neuro-endocrine Carcinoma Cancer; underwent several chemo treatments and numerous radiation treatments. She loved school, was an exceptional student, well advanced in her studies, enjoyed playing the trumpet and volleyball (competitively, on her school team and other various leagues). She had a passion for the Chiefs, art, animals and outdoor activities (fishing, camping, canoeing, 4-wheelers & rock crawling). Her illness kept her bedridden during most of her illness, but that didn’t stop her for learning, after a few lessons she fell in love with knitting and was quite gifted at it. She will always be remembered for her spirit, strength, spunk, determination, bravery, selflessness, amazing attitude and that inspirational contagious smile. She is survived by her Momma, Amy Dahlstrom; Daddy, Ron Schneider, Step-Mom Andra; Shawn Dahlstrom (whom she referred to as Dad); Sisters, Ashley Williams & Angela Dahlstrom; Nephew, Dominick Peterson; Grandmothers, Mary Lou Starnes, Patty Martino & Mona Dahlstrom and several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. It was Faith’s wishes for private, family only services. The family gratefully and humbly acknowledges all the support, care and prayers from family, friends, and countless strangers. A Celebration of Life & Memorial Event to honor Faith is being planned and hosted by her Mom, Amy Dahlstrom to be held on May 31st.
