Heinz-Guenther Gold

Heinz-Guenther Gold, 89, of Kansas City, Mo passed away November 20, 2014. Services are private. Heinz came to America in 1958 in search of a better life for his family. After coming to America, he worked as a cement mason and was a member of the Cement Masons Union Local #518. His family knew him as Opa. He enjoyed spending time with his family boating at the Lake of the Ozarks. After retiring he and his wife enjoyed traveling and seeing America. Heinz was preceded in death by a son, Manfred Gold, and daughter in law, Kathryn Gold. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Edeltraut Gold, sons, Hans-Dieter Gold (Gretchen), Harry Walter Gold (Lisa), 7 grandchildren, Hans Eric, Andrew (Kate), Ryan, Kayla, Joseph, Amy, 3 great grandchildren, Ian, Leah, Caleb, and many other extended family members. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Luke’s Hospice.
