Junior Sparks

Junior Lee Sparks, 88 of Trenton, MO died at Wright Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, January 20, 2015. He was born in Spickard, MO to the late Glen J. and Inez Campbell Sparks on July 18, 1926.
Junior was a graduate of Princeton High School, he proudly served in the U.S. Navy, where he was known as “Sparky”; he was a Caseworker for the Missouri Division of Family services, retiring in 1988. He and LaDonna enjoyed square dancing; until his knees gave out; they traveled to all 50 states and he played the tuba in a Polka Band. In general his happiest times were those spent with LaDonna.
He is survived by the love of his life, of nearly 65 years; LaDonna Brixius Sparks, whom he married, October 1, 1950, he was the loving brother of the late William Sparks and the dear uncle of numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A committal service with military honors will be held Friday, March 20, 2015 at Terrace Park Cemetery, Kansas City, MO. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army of Chillicothe; 21 West Mohawk Road Chillicothe, MO 64601. Share online condolences at TerraceParkFuneral.com.
