Bertha Ade

Bertha Lenora Ade, 89, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away at home, Wednesday January 31, 2018. Bertha was born March 19, 1928 to Jesse and Sophie (Bessenbaucher) Wagner, in Kansas City, Missouri. She grew up in Kansas City. She married her childhood friend, Bobby Joe Ade on January 1, 1948. For a short time she worked for National Carton and Tubing. In her free time she enjoyed camping, garage sales, and spending time with her family. She will always be remembered for her “Berthaisms” and as a jokester.

She is preceded in death by both parents, her husband of 48 years, brothers; Marion, Ralph, Archie, and Jack Wagner, and her sister Ethel Mae Crawford.

Bertha is survived by her children; Linda (Mike) Sanders of Odessa, MO, Danny (Sandy) Ade of Kansas City, MO, and Suzi (John) Cliff of Kansas City, MO. Also surviving are sisters; Ruth Ann Harp of Oak Grove, MO, Katheryn Berkibile of Adrain, MO ,and borthers; Jimmy Wagner of Belton, MO, Roy of Butler, MO, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, February 5, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM with Funeral Services immediately following at 12:00 PM at Terrace Park Funeral Home; 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO.
