Carl Ivor Catt, 59, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on November 4th, 2019.
Carl was born on December 16th, 1959 in Los Angeles, California to William and Bertha (Roths) Catt. In 1983 Bertha and Carl moved to Wichita, Kansas where Carl attended Wichita State University. While living in Wichita he met his wife of thirty two years, Victoria Catt, through First Bible Baptist Church on a Sunday School canoe trip. They moved to Kansas City where he furthered his education, obtaining a Master’s degree in Religious Education from Midwestern Baptist Seminary. His light shined wherever he went and brought enlightenment in academic topics, challenging others. During the fifteen years at North Oak Christian Church he volunteered in family ministry, served in the kitchen and taught Sunday School. In his spare time he enjoyed reading and drawing abstract art.
Carl is preceded in death by his parents. He’ll be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his wife, Vicki, sons – David and Stephen; brother, Jim Catt and wife Cindy; niece, Courtney; nephew, Michael; and many other extended family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 9th at 5:00pm at North Oak Christian Church, 9900 N Oak Trafficway, Kansas City, MO 64155.
