Earl Crownover

March 12, 1957 — April 30, 2018

Earl Crownover, 61, of Kansas City, MO, concluded his life’s journey on Monday, April 30, 2018.  He was born in Independence, MO on March 12, 1957, to Barton and Evelyn (Kelly) Crownover.

Earl was a creative man, with a love for reading and collecting comic books, he also enjoyed drawing and sketching. He collected old military items and would pick up and repair old bicycles. He was a history buff and enjoyed reading and watching historical programs, as well as watching westerns.  He was able to use his creativity when making meals and ice sculptures during his career as a Chef, for over 30 years, working at several places throughout the Kansas City area including the Muehlebach Hotel and the Carriage Club.

He is survived by his son Anthony (Deborah Koop) Crownover, daughter Jessica Crownover, grandchildren Vincent, Jolie, Alexander and Journey. Brothers David (Cookie) Crownover and Michael (Sandy) Crownover; his mother Evelyn Crownover, his beloved dog Sera and many other extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by wife Rita (Sture) Crownover and his father Barton.
