Estle Bailey

Estle “Bill” Bailey, 85, of Kidder, MO, died on Saturday, January 26, 2019. He was born in Knobnoster, MO on June 6, 1933, to the late Estle T. and Lula Mae (Dawson) Bailey.

Bill was a third generation plasterer—learning from his Father and Grandfather; He proudly served in the Army-Air Corps, was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Polo, and worked at Ford for 18 years.  He will forever be remembered wearing his bib-overalls, his love of fishing, dancing, stamp collecting and for loving his family.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Beverly (Holman) Bailey; children Gary Bailey, James Bailey, Victoria (Darrell) Norris, and Keven (Robbie) Fisher; 13 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren; and many friends and extended family members.

In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by his brother William Bailey, Sisters Martha Brown and Aline Thompson.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 5, 2019 from 10-11 AM at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO. Funeral service will follow at 11 AM at the funeral home. Interment with military honors at Terrace Park Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association: Alz.org.  Share online condolences at TerraceParkFuneralHome.com.
