Howard Robert Ross, son of the late Morris & Nellie Ross, was born on April 22, 1947 and departed this life on July 23, 2019 and 4:32 PM. At the time of his passing he was 72 years of age.

He was born in Wilmington, Delaware and moved to Kansas City, Missouri at an early age where he later graduated from High School at Paseo High School. Shortly after graduation he joined the United States Navy where he proudly served for four years during the Vietnam War. After returning home from the war he began working for Henry Wurst Inc. where he later retired from at the age of 62. While working for Henry Wurst Inc. he met Linda Young and they were later united in marriage on July 3, 1984. Together they loved to fish, travel, spend time outdoors and go biking. They participated in the Multiple sclerosis bike ride across Missouri for several years. Howard loved to pheasant hunt, golf, and spend time with other various outdoor activities.

Howard was preceded in passing by his parents; and his sister, Sylvia Ross-Watkins. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Linda Ross; his son, Howard Ross Jr & wife Nicole; his siblings, Morris A. Ross, Louis Ross & wife Lillie, Camilla Scott & husband Darrell and Anthony Ross; one grandson, Howard Ross III; his three nieces, Kim Williams, Aisha Scott and Aiana Scott; and one nephew, Mory Ross. He also leaves behind several other friends and family members who will all truly miss him.
