John Sidoti

John James Sidoti, 95, passed away on April 16, 2019. John was born on November 5, 1923 to Giovanni and Rosalie (Caleca) Sidoti in Easton, Pennsylvania. On  September 9, 1946, he married the love of his life,  Billie Mead, and from that marriage they had five children. After attending business college, John began working as an accountant at Royal Globe Insurance until he retired in 1988. Due to his job, John traveled and lived all over the country until he and his family finally settled in the greater Kansas City area in 1961. His love of travelling continued even after retirement. John and Billie loved getting in their RV and visiting new places and old friends. They even went to Rome, Italy in 2006.

John is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Billie, and son-in-law, Ron Mcolpin.

He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his children, Rose Marie Mcolpin, Nancy (Chuck) Ballinger-Pulliam, Jackie (Chris) Tarantola, John (David Miller) Sidoti, and Jim (Shelly) Sidoti; grandchildren, Jennifer (Derek) Fenwick, Mark Jason Mcolpin, Regina (Danny) Baute, Christina Tarantola, and Rose Angela (Brett) Tarantola, Jackie (Eric) Anderson, Lesley and Lauren Ballinger, Ashton (DJ) Sidoti-Chambers, John Ryan Sidoti; nine great- grandchildren and one on the way.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Charles Borromeo on Mon., April 22, 2019 at 11:30a, with rosary and visitation at 10:15am. Burial following at Terrace Park Cemetery.
