Joshua Lindsay

Joshua L. Lindsay, 23, of Platte City, MO, died suddenly on Saturday, November 18, 2017. He was born in North Kansas City on May 13, 1994, to John and the late Dena Lindsay.

Josh graduated from Park Hill High School and the Northland Career Center. He went on to attend Linn State Technical College where he studied to become a diesel mechanic. He started his career at Diamond International, and then went to work at Vanderhaggs Truck Parts & Service, MHC Kenworth and most recently Inland Truck.  Josh loved being a father to his son Clayton & his beloved OBT Truck. He loved all that God provided in the world, especially helping his grandfather work on the family farm. He enjoyed hunting, snow skiing, rafting, anything country, listing to music, working with his hands and spending time with his family and friends. He was proud to have had a speaking part in the Northland Career Center television commercial.  Josh never met a stranger.  He loved to talk and was always willing to help others.

Josh is survived by the love of his life, Kenzie Duke, and their son Clayton. His father John Lindsay & Stepmom Lauri Tierney; his brother Justus Lindsay; sisters Katie Leetz and Paige Foster; Grandparents Clay and Lucille Lindsay and Karen Fletcher. His special Aunt & Uncle Christene & Jerry Page and His lifelong other family Brian & Jan, Codi & Luke Smith.  He is also survived by several other Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and countless friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 22, 2017, from  10-12 PM.  Celebration of life service will be Wednesday,  12 PM at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 NW 108th St. (Shoal Creek  Pkwy) KCMO 64155. Burial will be at Scott Cemetery in Amsterdam, MO on Wednesday at 3 PM.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Clayton Lindsay Trust Fund in care of John Lindsay at 10104 NW 86th Street, Kansas City, MO 64153.
