Myron Williams

Myron Eugene Williams, 87, of Pleasant Valley, Missouri passed away on August 24, 2019.

Myron was born on August 5, 1932 in Eagleville, Missouri to Boyd and Cordie (Beeks) Williams. He attended North Kansas City High School and served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Shortly after returning home from the war he met Helen Phipps and the two were married six months later in May of 1953. He was a very talented carpenter and handyman, and spent many years working as a maintenance supervisor for an apartment complex. When he wasn’t working he enjoyed going out dancing, spending time weekends and holidays at Lake of the Ozarks, golfing, watching the Kansas City Chiefs and Nascar races, most above all else being with his family and close friends.

Myron will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his wife of 66 years, Helen; daughters, Kim (Chuck) and Keri; grandchildren, Kristina (Brad), Craig, Carly; and great grandchildren, Harper and Briar.

Funeral services will be held at Terrace Park Cemetery – Lakeside Chapel on Wed., Aug. 28th at 11am, with visitation one hour prior, and burial to follow. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
