Robert Harris

Robert Keith Harris, 73, of Kansas City, MO passed away on October 15, 2018.

Robert was born on August 23, 1945 to Walter and Georgia Harris. Before retiring in 2005, he worked 41 years for Corn Products International Starch Company and was involved in several positions for the union. Robert was an avid sports fan. He loved bowling, playing softball on company teams, and was an assistant coach for little league baseball. Robert's proudest moments were when his children earned their college degrees.

Robert is survived by his wife of 53 years, Illona; children, Dr. David (Dena) Harris, Dawn (Wayne) Williamson, Daniel Harris (Greg Brown) ; grandchildren, Cameron, Aidan, and Kaitlin Williamson; sisters, Donna (Tom) Hayes and Linda (Denny) Hughes; sister-in-law, Marsha Duncan; brother-in-law, Stephen Huffman; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 1-3 pm at the Terrace Park Funeral Home and Cemetery - Lakeside Atrium.

When faced with difficult situations in life or at work, Robert would always say "Piece A Cake".
