Sheila Carr

Sheila Ann Carr, 59, of Kansas City, MO, passed away surrounded by her family at home on Friday, August 10, 2018.  She was born August 2, 1959, in Kansas City, MO to Hurley and Deanna (Snyder) Mahan.

Sheila was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and daughter who enjoyed scrapbooking and sewing, but most of all spending time with her family at the Lake of the Ozarks, attending sporting and dance events, or just dinners at home. She was the Director of Human Resources for Faultless Starch/Bon Ami Co. in Kansas City for more than 30 years.

She was the loving wife of Jon Carr, cherished Mom of Harry (Megan) Hiestand III, Miranda “Mandi” (Wyatt) Carr and Victoria “Tori” Carr. Dear sister of Steve (Mary) Mahan, Kathie (Ann) Mahan, Hurley (Theresa) Mahan, and Mark (Brenda) Mahan, loving grandmother of Deklin, Chase, and Ella. She was a dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 15, 2018 from 10-12 PM at Terrace Park Funeral Home: 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO. Funeral service will follow the visitation at 12 PM at the funeral home with interment into Terrace Park Cemetery.
