Virginia Greene

Virginia Mae Greene was born on March 6, 1922 in Hot Springs, Arkansas and reared in Globe, Arizona and departed this life on December 19, 2018 in Excelsior Springs, Missouri. At the time of her passing she was 96 years of age.

Virginia was a loving and devoted mother and wife. While her husband, Charles, was working at General Motors in Kansas City, Virginia stayed at home to not only raise her family but also watch over the family farm.

Virginia was preceded in passing by her husband, Charles Russell; one daughter, Juanita Schriner; and one son-in-law, Lee Schriner. She is survived by her daughter, Charlene (Rick) Greene-McMillian; two grandchildren, Don (Jennifer) Dodson and Kim (Jeff) Thoma; and multiple great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind many friends and other family members who will all truly miss her.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Terrace Park Lakeside Chapel with Certified Celebrant Philip Zehms officiating.
