Calvina Reynolds, 92, of Deepwater, Missouri passed away peacefully, September 5, 2017. She was born April 3, 1925 in Kansas City, Missouri to the late Joseph Alfred and Maud Lilly (Culbertson) Miller.
Calvina grew up in the Kansas City area, and even though her father passed away when she was 16 years old, she finished High School and graduated in 1942. Calvina worked as a secretary and office manager at a number of places which included; Montgomery Ward, American Truck Body and Cooper-Jerrit Truck Line. She met Harold Reynolds and on October 25, 1967 they were wed at the Plattsburg Court House. Calvina loved flowers, nature and being outdoors. She could often be found sitting on her front porch drinking her coffee, watching the hummingbirds come to the feeders she always kept full for them. Calvina didn’t know a stranger, she always had a smile on her face and her family and friends were very important to her.
In addition to her parents, Calvina was preceded in death by her children, JoAnn and Terry.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 50 years, Harold; children, Patricia of Gladstone, MO, Raymond of Gladstone, MO, Connie of Carbon, Utah as well as a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, September 11, 2017 from 9-10 AM with Funeral Services immediately following at 10 AM at Terrace Park Funeral Home; 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO. Burial to follow in St. Joseph Memorial Park.
