Abbie Murch

Abbie Rose Murch, 22, of Gladstone, MO was granted her angel wings on September 14, 2010. Her final days were spent surrounded by the family and friends she had touched so profoundly throughout her short, yet very memorable life. She is survived by her parents Kim and Helen Murch; brother Brian and wife Melody Murch; sister Stacey and husband Aaron Croley; brother Kevin Murch; nieces Mackenzie and Morgan; nephew James; her Grandpa James Murch and Step-Grandma Lois, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.Abbie changed all of us. Her simple life helped us forget our busy schedules and the importance of time with the family. She spent countless hours keeping her mom company while watching all the local sports teams, and kept her dad busy fixing the house to make it easier for her to move around. And most of all she enjoyed keeping a watchful eye on her nieces and nephew when they came to grandma's house to play. Services will be held Friday, September 17 at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home, 169 Highway and N.W. 108th St., Kansas City, MO 64155. The service will start at 3:00P.M. In lieu of flowers, contributions would be appreciated to purchase something special for her physically challenged friends at the Maple Valley State School.
