It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Alexandria Jo "Ally" Whistler, who left this world far too soon on August 25, 2025, at the age of 29. Alexandria was born on May 5, 1996, the cherished daughter of Angela Jo Whistler and Parrish Troy Whistler. She grew up surrounded by love and laughter, alongside her beloved brother, Christian Troy Whistler, and her sister, Sarah Mezzera.
Ally had a zest for life that touched everyone she met. She adored car rides and found joy in the simple pleasure of crayons and drawing. She spent many happy days riding her blinged-out golf cart, her laughter echoing as she explored the world around her. Her love for animals was evident in her countless visits to see horses, where her excitement was infectious. Daily phone calls with her mother brought warmth to both their hearts, solidifying a bond that transcended words.
Alex's smile was a beacon of light, brightening the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her loving spirit and kind heart have left an indelible mark on all those she encountered.
Ally leaves behind her parents, Angela Whistler and Parrish Whistler, her brother Christian Whistler (Valerie), and her cherished nieces and nephews: Edan, Jessalyn, Hexley, and Areaya. She is also survived by her grandparents, Julianna Brooks and Ron and Sharon Whistler, and her devoted aunts and uncles, Shane (Teri) Weber, Sharise Weber, Tracy (Chad) Ogren, and Chadd (Jennifer) Whistler. Ally enjoyed special moments with her cousins, Brandon, David, Brittni, Tori, Tiffany, Chris, Nick, Luke, and Madison.
She is preceded in death by her papa, David J. Weber, her granddad, Raymond Brooks, and her stepdad, Ed Overall.
A visitation will be held on September 6, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Terrace Park Funeral Home & Cemetery, located at 801 NW 108th St, Kansas City, MO 64155.
As we celebrate the life of Ally Whistler, let us remember not only the loss we feel, but the joy and love she brought into our lives. Her memory will forever shine in our hearts.
