Amelia Hayden

October 30, 1927 — June 17, 2023

Kansas City

Amelia Hayden, a woman of unyielding faith and devotion, passed away on June 17th, 2023. She was born on October 30th, 1927 in Hannibal, Missouri to her loving parents John and Gladys Plowman.

Amelia lived a life that was defined by her belief in God and her unwavering strength in the face of adversity. Her Christian faith guided everything she did, from the way she treated others to the way she faced life's many challenges. She married the love of her life, Roy W. Hayden.  Though they have since reunited in Heaven, their love for one another lives on.

One of Amelia's greatest comforts in life was knowing that she would be reunited with those who passed before her - including her parents, husband, and daughter, Harriet Amelia Hayden. And while her passing may bring sadness to those who knew and loved her best, we take solace in the fact that she is now resting peacefully alongside those who went before her.

Amelia will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her - especially for the warmth and kindness she exuded every day of her life. Her legacy will continue through those whose lives were touched by hers; a lasting reminder of what it means to love without reservation or hesitation.

To Amelia's family and friends: May you find peace knowing that she has been called home by our Lord above. Her strength is an inspiration to us all - one that will never fade with time. In this time of mourning, let us remember Amelia's remarkable life - one that touched so many hearts and left an indelible mark on this world.

Rest in peace Amelia Hayden.
