Anita Louise Noble

May 6, 1946 — August 6, 2023

Kansas City

Anita Louise Noble, 77, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 6, 2023.

Anita was born on May 6, 1946 in Denver, Colorado to Lyle and Esther Peak. Her family moved to her adopted hometown of Quincy, Illinois where she graduated from Quincy High School in 1964. She continued her education at William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri where she received her teaching degree in 1968. She married Kenneth “Drexel” Noble in 1969 and from this marriage they were blessed with three children. Anita taught elementary school for several years, and then for 25 years she was Vice President and Secretary of Drexel Noble Construction company. She considered highlights of her life to be getting married, starting a business, and the thrill of raising three children. After retirement Anita and Drexel enjoyed spending their free time traveling the United States on their motorcycle, but most importantly they cherished the time spent with their family. In her later years Anita enjoyed reading, writing letters, quilting, volunteering, playing games with friends, and attended as many school and sporting events as she could for her grandchildren. Faith was very important to Anita as she leaves behind notebooks of hand-written Bible verses. She was a member of Antioch Bible Baptist Church.

Anita is preceded in death by her parents and husband of 45 years, Drexel Noble. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by her children, David (Laura) Noble, Julie (Jason) Gann, and Rebecca Noble; 6 grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Nathan) Long, Kristalyn Noble, Alexander Noble, Haven Gann, Kayla Gann, and Jacob Bennett; 2 great grandchildren, Hudson Long, and Chloe Long; sister, Sylvia (John) von Erdmannsdorff; and many extended family and friends.

Services will be held Thursday, August 10th at Terrace Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, with visitation from 10:00 – 11:00 am, followed immediately by the funeral service at 11:00 am and burial. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Antioch Bible Baptist Church – Youth Camps Fund.

Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his Saints. Psalms 116:15
