Ashley Nichole French, born on November 1, 1992, passed away on May 23, 2026. She was a beloved mother, sister, granddaughter, daughter, niece, and friend. Ashley will be remembered as an amazing mother, a kind soul, a social butterfly, a protective person, and someone with a kind heart and a bubbly spirit.

Her favorite things included spending time with her children and family, coloring, listening to music, writing, watching crime shows on TV, having a good belly laugh, visiting Halloween Haunt at Worlds of Fun with her sister Avau, and going on nature walks at Parkville Nature Sanctuary. Ashley was the type of person people fell in love with the first time they met. She had an electric personality that left its mark on everyone.

Some of her favorite memories included watching each of her children start school, riding horses at her aunt’s house, and spending every Christmas with her family. She loved family gatherings. Ashley has been reunited in heaven with her late husband, Tim French; her grandfather, Jason; and her niece, Athena.

She is survived by her children, Brooklyn, Charlie, Emmett, and Kai Drinkard, as well as Tristim-Jay (TJ) and Asher French; her grandmother, Karen Wilson; her mother, Pamela McGaugh; her siblings, Bradley Riner, Avau Malolo, and Catie McGeeney; her aunts, Christie and Michelle; and her uncle, Rodney Wilson. Ashley also leaves behind many close friends and extended family members who will cherish her memory.

Her service will be held on June 5, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at 801 NW 108th Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64155. Family and close friends are welcome to attend.
