Benny F. Weese

Benny (Sonny) F. Weese, 77, of Pleasant Valley, MO passed away on August 27, 2012 at home with his family. Benny was born on December 15, 1934 in Grenville, New Mexico to Sammy Jr. and Zola (Carey) Weese. The family moved to Winston where Benny graduated high school in 1954.  Benny retired from General Motors in 1986 after 31 years; he was a member of Meadowbrook United Methodist church. He enjoyed camping, fishing, riding 4 wheelers and motorcycles, playing cards and watching the Royals.  He married Alice Hinds in 1956. They had two daughters, Connie (William) Richmond and Judy Burnette. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, a brother and 2 infant brothers. Benny is survived by his wife, children and grandchildren, Adam Richmond, Alison (Lonnie) Bravo, Andrea Richmond, Jonathan Whitney and one great-grandson, Dustyn Hermann, 1 brother, 4 sisters and many nieces and nephews.  Services will be at Mount Moriah Terrace Park on Thursday, August 30. Visitation is from 1:00-2:00 P.M. with service beginning at 2:00. Interment following services at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Cemetery.
