Bernadette Vincent Suchernick

Bernadette Vincent Suchernick, maiden name Bernadette Vincent O’Connor, passed away on April 29th, 2023 at the age of 75. She died peacefully at Liberty Hospital from colon cancer. 

Bernadette was born on February 20,1948 in New York City, New York.She was a baptized  Roman Catholic  She is predeceased by her parents , brother, and two sisters, all of which were estranged to her for over 40 years. 

She married the love of her life, Ronald Suchernick on October 10th, 1966 and gave birth to their only child Theresa on May 10, 1967. They moved to North Hollywood California where Ron worked as an aircraft mechanic. They retired to Kansas City, Missouri. 

Unfortunately, she suffered from Paranoid Schizophrenia which affected every aspect of her life. With Ron’s dedicated support she was able to manage the worst of her symptoms later in life. 

Before he passed in 2012, Ron promised her that he would come get her when it was her time. On her deathbed she was eager to be reunited with him after missing him for so long. We have faith that he kept his promise.
