Blanche E. Cooley, 89, of Kansas City, died at her home on Thursday, November 20, 2014. She was born October 3, 1925 to the late Jay Clayburn and Dorothy Marie Cook.
She worked as a night nursing supervisor at North Kansas City Hospital until her retirement in 1988.
She was the loving wife of the late Cecil J. Cooley, who died in 2001, also preceding her in death a sister Mary Shartzer. Loving mother of Linda Aquino, Dianna (Joseph) Spiess, Mike (Evelyn) Cooley, David Cooley, Kathy (Mike) Mullin, cherished “GMan” of 13 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, and a sister Erma Smith..
Visitation will be Monday, November 24, 2014 from 12 PM until the time of service at 2 PM with Pastor Todd Slagle officiating. Please share messages, memories and moments with the family at www.TerraceParkFuneral.com.
