Brenda Lee Taylor, 65 of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on August 26 , 2026.

Brenda was born on August 25, 1961, in Kansas City, Missouri. She was the youngest of five children born to Grant Finnell and Iva Finnell. Brenda graduated from North Kansas City high school in 1979 and worked for many years in the manufacturing/ nursing.

She was known for her generous heart and willingness to help anyone in need her kindness and caring nature touched the lives of many people throughout her life.

Family was especially important to Brenda she created countless wonderful memories with her nieces and nephews.

She will be remembered for her generosity, her love of family, and the many memories she created with those fortunate enough to know her.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Grant Finnell and Iva Finnell, and two sisters Linda Brayfield and Carolyn Finnell.

She will be fondly remembered by her husband John Taylor, and sister Frances Finnell and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Services to honor Brenda’s life will be held at Terrace Park Funeral Home & Cemetery, located at 801 NW 108th Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64155. With a visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 am, and a funeral service beginning at 11:00 am. Burial following at Terrace Park Cemetery.
