Brennen Jaykob Goody, 12, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on June 13, 2023.

Brennen was born on June 5, 2011 in Warrensburg, Missouri. He resided in Kansas City with his parents, Mikael and Jacquelynn Goody and two younger siblings, Lukas and Katy. In May of 2021 he was diagnosed with Vascular Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and though he endured many health complications he never let that stop him from enjoying his time with friends and family. He loved watching the Chiefs – especially his favorite quarterback, Mahomes, battling bey blades, playing soccer, dancing and singing to his favorite music – Imagine Dragons, playing with his pets – Athena, Rocket, and Luna, and watching Harry Potter. He strong spirit, love for his family, and comical TikTok dances will be fondly remembered by those who loved him. He is survived by his parents, Mikael and Jacquelynn; brother, Lukas; sister, Kathrynn; grandparents, Wendy and Jeffrey Mahan and Steve and Nichol Ehler; aunts and uncles, Tony Dundon, Mariah Mahan, Mckenzee (Forrest) Gibson, Miranda Verry, Madison Verry, Stella Verry, Michelle (Dalton) Webb, Kayla Ehler, CJ Johnson and Joey Johnson; great grandparents, Robert and Sunny Wallace, Linda Sherva, and Petra Ayala and numerous extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Tiburcia Ayala; uncle, Zechariah Mahan; and great grandparents, Patricia Hora, Merle Goody Sr, Denis Ehler, Robert Sherva, Jose Ayala and Robert Verry.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Northside Christian Church on Saturday, June 17th, with visitation from 2pm-4pm, following by the funeral service at 4pm. In honor of Brennen fight, the family ask that everyone attending the services please wear red.
