Carl Murray

Carl E. Murray, 91 of Kansas City, MO passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2022. He was born March 1, 1931 in Mendon, Missouri to the late Orville and Nola Mae (Mosco) Murray.

He proudly served in the U.S. Airforce during the Korean war. He worked for CertainTeed for more than 40 Years. He was a jack of all trades and truly gifted with his hands.  With the help of his brothers, he built his own home. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and classic cars. His most recent project was a 1959 Galaxy 500 Fairlane that he completely restored and took to a car show the week before his death.

He is survived by his children Cheryl (Dennis) Brooks, Mike (Sabrina) Murray, Carl (Brenda) Murray and Denise (Ron) Cole. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren with one on the way and 2 great-great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Carl is preceded in death by his wife Rose, 7 brothers and 3 sisters.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 14 from 12 PM until time of service at 2 PM at the Terrace Park Funeral Home 801 NW 108th street (Shoal Creek & 169 Hwy)  He will be laid to rest with military honors at Terrace Park Cemetery.
