Carole Stallsworth

Edith Carole Stallsworth, 73, of Kansas City, passed away February 20, 2022.  Interment will be held at Terrace Park Cemetery at a later date.

Carole was born on September 9, 1948, in Kingsport, TN, to Max Milton Lee and Ann Elizabeth (Bass) Lee.  She moved to the Kansas City area where she was raised by her mother and her stepfather, Wilbur Fletcher.  Carole spent most of her career with Burlington Northern Railroad and later Burlington Northtown Community Credit Union.  Her free time was spent enjoying watching old movies, playing with her dogs, attending her granddaughters’ many sporting events, and time with her family. Carole is survived by her daughter, Michelle Schottel and husband, Ken; granddaughter Shelby Schottel; stepfather, Wilbur Fletcher, and sister, Ann Treadway.
