Charlie was an avid gardener, always tilling up the back yard dirt every spring planting tomatoes, zucchini, peppers, squash, cucumbers, green beans. He loved planting flowers in the spring time.He taught himself how to build things around the house, like adding on the room addition to the family home and building planters. He loved yard work and was always out raking leaves, neighbor's leaves and shoveling snow, even last year at 96. Charlie was a practical joker, always kidding around with others.
