Cheryl L. Schoneman, born on January 5, 1962, passed away on August 5, 2025, leaving behind a profound legacy of love and devotion. With a career dedicated to Hallmark for 15 years, Cheryl was a dedicated and valuable employee known for her honesty and straight forward nature. Her warm spirit touched the hearts of many.
Cheryl was deeply family-oriented and devoted herself to cultivating cherished memories with her loved ones. Her 30 years of marriage to her loving husband, David, was filled with joy, as they flourished together, sharing their lives and sowing love among their family.
As a mother, Cheryl embodied commitment and care. She took great delight in caring for her family, enjoying their country home, swimming in the pond with her children, and having picnics that strengthened their family bonds. Cheryl’s love for her animals was palpable; her furry friends were an integral part of her life and provided her companionship and joy.
Her interests were as vibrant as her personality. Cheryl had a passion for gardening and cooking, taking pride in nurturing her plants and creating meals that brought her family together. Music resonated in her life, with a special affection for good old rock-n-roll along with a range of other genres that filled her home with harmony and laughter.
Cheryl’s memorial services will take place on August 12, 2025, at Terrace Park Funeral Home & Cemetery in Kansas City, MO. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. A graveside service will conclude the proceedings at 12:00 PM. The family invites all who knew and loved Cheryl to join in honoring her remarkable life.
As we remember Cheryl, we celebrate a woman whose essence was defined by her devotion, warmth, and unyielding love for her family. Her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.
Cheryl is preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Margaret Brownsberger.
She is survived by her loving husband, David Schoneman; her daughter, Haley Schoneman, sons, Kyle and Cole Schoneman; her brother, Doug Brownsberger (Bonnie); sisters, Jeanie Collins (Phillip), Margie Cameron (Alan), Phyllis Hernandez, Helen Strick (Jerry), Sharon Chambers, Laurie Wolfe (Carl); as well as many nieces and nephews and beloved family members and friends.
