Dale Lamping, 92, of Kansas City, Mo passed away July 29, 2014. Funeral services are 2:00 pm Friday August 1st at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 169 Hwy & Shoal Creek Parkway. Visitation is 6:00 – 8:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Burial in Terrace Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to NorthCare Hospice House.
Dale was born in Seneca, Ks on February 7, 1922. He was a graduate of Seneca High School and Navy veteran of World War II. Following his graduation from the University of Kansas, he worked at the GM Fairfax plant for 30 years. He married Carolyn Creelman in 1945. Dale was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn, and 2 brothers, Harold and Rex. Survivors include his daughter and son in law, Dianne and Richard Andrews, brother, Robert Lamping, and 2 grandsons, Kyle and Corey.
