Delores "Dee" Eleanor Rader

Delores "Dee" Rader, 71, passed away on January 18, 2023.

Delores was born on December 8, 1951 in Independence, Missouri. She was the middle child of six daughter born to Harry and Cleo Eleanor Wynn. Delores graduated from Winnetonka High School. A few years later she met the love of her life, Kenneth Rader. After a short courtship they were married on August 19, 1973 and from this marriage they were blessed with three children. Delores held various positions at the Walmart in Liberty for 21+years. In her spare time she enjoyed nature and wildlife, especially horses and birds. She was a talented cook, who will be remembered for her Saturday morning biscuits and chicken and rice. She also spent much of her free time reading, watching old westerns, and there wasn’t an “as seen on TV” commercial she hasn’t seen or purchased from. Delores is preceded in death by her father and three sisters, Peggy Wynn, Lillie Wynn and Harriet Bushhart. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by her husband Kenneth; children, Eleanor (Scott) Winn, Tracy (Mark) Henrikson, and Harry (Brenda) Rader; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sisters, Pam Bailey and Yvonne Hanson; and many extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Bethel Baptist Church, 3700 NE Barry Rd, Kansas City, MO 64156, on Saturday, January 28th, with visitation beginning at 1:00pm, followed by the funeral service at 2:00pm.
