Donna Ruth Briggs-Flanagan, born on January 9, 1947, and a cherished member of her community, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2026. Donna lived a life filled with purposeful work, loving relationships, and a true passion for family.

For over 15 years, Donna dedicated herself to her career at Delta Airlines, where she was known not only for her strong work ethic but also for her warm and engaging personality. She was well-liked by her colleagues and formed lasting friendships throughout her time there. Her commitment to excellence and the genuine care she showed others made her a valued member of the team.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Donna was a devoted family member. She took immense pleasure in cooking, famously known for preparing the best brisket in town. Holidays were particularly special for her, as they allowed her to gather with loved ones, creating memories that would last a lifetime. Family was at the heart of everything Donna treasured, and she took pride in being there for her children, always providing unwavering support and love.

Donna's sense of humor and joyful spirit made her a friend to all. She connected with people effortlessly, shining brightly in every social setting. Her love for her husband, Dennis, was deep and unwavering, underpinned by the beautiful life they built together. The memories they created were some of her proudest accomplishments, reflective of a relationship rooted in mutual respect and affection.

In addition to her passion for family, Donna enjoyed shopping and collecting porcelain dolls, and garage sales. Hobbies that brought her joy and satisfaction. She also shared a special bond with her loyal dog Teddy and the other dogs who graced her life during her years. These furry companions were integral parts of her home and heart.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents Albert & Mary Ann Briggs; sisters, Debbie Venyard, and Linda Boyle; brother Joe Briggs.

She is survived by her loving husband Dennis Flanagan; her children, Dan Flanagan, Jeff Flanagan, and Kathryn Saysoff; many grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren; sister, Sharon Alumbaugh; niece, Tricia (Mike) Kerley; niece, Pam (Kevin) Critten; nephew, Jeff Alumbaugh; nephew, Rick (Danielle) Boyle; brother-in-law, Dick Boyle. As well as many other family and friends.

Donna Ruth Briggs-Flanagan leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and generosity. Her memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege to know her.

Services to honor Donna’s life will be held March 3, 2026, at Terrace Park Funeral Home. Located at 801 NW 108th Street, Kansas City Missouri 64155. Family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 am. With a funeral Service beginning at 11:00 am. Interment following at Resurrection Cemetery. Located at 5001 NE Cookingham Dr. Kansas City, Missouri 64156.
