Donna Joyce Conrad-Wilkinson, 77, passed away on September 20, 2026.

Donna was born on September 8, 1949, in Kansas City, Kansas, to Claude and Pauline “Polly” Hamm. She grew up in the Kansas City area and graduated from Wyandotte High School.

Donna went on to enjoy a long and successful career in commercial insurance with Marsh McLennan Agency, retiring at the age of 52. It was through her work that she met her husband, Michael Conrad. Donna spent much of her life in Plattsburg, Missouri, where she made her home and raised her family.

Before her health began to decline, Donna loved staying busy and making the most of life. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed traveling throughout North America, and especially enjoyed collecting and shopping for special keepsakes, including her treasured Hallmark ornaments.

Donna also loved the holidays. She enjoyed decorating her home and hosting family and friends. That same attention to detail extended outdoors, where Donna had a passion for landscaping.

Above all, Donna treasured time with her family, especially her grandsons. Some of her happiest memories were made, taking them to museums, movies, and enjoying special trips together, including visits to Hannibal, Missouri. She delighted in being part of their lives and watching her family grow.

Donna also had a soft spot for animals. Over the years, she loved and cared for several Boxers and opened her home to more than a few stray cats who were fortunate enough to find their way to her.

Donna attended various churches in Plattsburg and her Christian faith remained an important part of her life.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Pauline “Polly” Hamm; her husbands, Michael Conrad and Bruce Wilkinson; her brother, Swanson Hamm; and her sister, Brenda Moore.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Brian (Kris) Sigg; grandsons, Rylan (Crystal) Sigg and Hayden Sigg (Kayla); great-grandson, Ezra Sigg; sister, Diane (Rufus) Moore; stepdaughter, Karen (Kenny) Hall; step-grandchildren, Taylor and Courtney; and many extended family members and friends.

A graveside service honoring Donna’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 25, 2026, at Terrace Park Cemetery in Kansas City, Missouri.
