Edward C. Enderson

Edward C. Enderson, 73, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away peacefully at home on April 3, 2023, surrounded by his family.

Ed was born in Storm Lake, Iowa on March 10, 1950. He was preceded in death by his son, Andrew C. Enderson; and parents CN “Andy” and Patricia (Lucey) Enderson. Survivors include his loving wife and the love of his life for the past 43 years, Linda; children Nicole (Joseph) Napolitano and Jennifer Smith; grandchildren Michael (Terren) Barger, Sabrina Barger, Caitlin Enderson, Jacob Fisher, Julianna Napolitano, Anthony Napolitano, Abigail Enderson and Riley Breedlove; great-grandchildren Kasyn Otero, Julian Barger, Brantley Bechthold, and Kove Barger; and sisters Toni (Gard) Gibson and Kelly Dennis.

Ed joined the North Kansas City, MO Police Department in 1972 and retired after 22 years; reaching the rank of Major. Ed then joined the Clay County Sheriff Department as Undersheriff from 1994 to 2001 and 2009 to 2013. From 2001 to 2009, he was Supervisor of the Enforcement Unit of the Clay County Child Support Division. Ed graduated from the FBI National Academy in 1986.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Terrace Park Funeral Home & Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, April 10th from 5-8pm. The funeral service will be Tuesday, April 11th at 10:00am, with a 30-minute visitation prior to the service and graveside following.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made in Ed’s name to the America Cancer Society.
