Edward L. Galland, 77, of Liberty Missouri passed away peacefully on September 5, 2024. He leaves behind a legacy of love, integrity, and adventure.
Edward shared 20 wonderful years with his companion Dixie. Together they shared a great love, many memories and cherished times that will be forever treasured.
He was a truck driver for more then 25 years. Edward had a deep appreciation for the open road and delighted in recounting stories of his travels and the many places he had visited. His stories were a delight to those he shared them with and others enjoyed hearing of his journeys.
An avid hunter, Edward looked forward to his annual hunting trips with his step-son Rick. With whom many fond memories were made. Together they shared cherished moments of bonding and adventure. Edward also had a love for fishing, this reflected his deep connection to the outdoors where he found peace and pleasure being with nature.
Edwards life was defined by his unwavering commitment to helping others. He lived by always doing the right thing and by helping those who needed a hand. He demonstrated remarkable generosity to everyone he met. A patient and kind man who enjoyed teaching others of the things he was fond of in this world.
He will be profoundly missed by his family and all who knew him.

He is survived by his companion, Dixie Dearling; step-son Rick Burnett; and sister Donna (Don) Miller.
