Eleanor (Buzzard) Hall passed away on September 29, 2025.
Born on August 14, 1934, in Columbus, Kansas, Eleanor was the daughter of Jack and Orilla Buzzard. After graduating from high school, she pursued higher education and earned her master’s degree in nursing—a calling that guided and shaped her entire life.Eleanor devoted 17 years of service as the school nurse at Park Hill High School, where she was a trusted caregiver and advocate for countless students. Her commitment to serving others extended far beyond her career. She was a proud and active supporter of the Assistance League of Kansas City (Boost KC), where she was honored with the Ann Banning Award for her dedicated behind-the-scenes service. Always willing to go the extra mile, she repaired items for the thrift store, filled in for fellow members when needed, and created photo albums of ReSale Shop events that are still treasured by Boost KC today. Eleanor also served on the Board of Directors for Tri-County Mental Health. Her volunteer work was wide-reaching. She assisted the Camdenton School District with student immunization records and worked with the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide program in Gladstone, preparing taxes for low-income and elderly residents with patience and care. Eleanor and her husband enjoyed 15 wonderful years living at the Lake of the Ozarks, where they made countless cherished memories together.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Keener Adams Hall II, and her daughter-in-law, Heidi Ann Hall. She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her children, Keener Adams Hall III, Mark Douglas (Becky) Hall, and Linda Diane Hall; her grandchildren, Heather Hall, Joshua Hall, David Hall, Grace Hall, Charlie Hall, Jacob Hall, and Victoria Kaspar; great-grandchildren, Abigail Hall and Hannah Hall; as well as many extended family members and friends.
A graveside serve will be held at Terrace Park Cemetery on Saturday, October 4th at 10:30am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to BoostKC (6101 N Chestnut Ave: Gladstone MO. 64119) The family welcomes friends and family to join them following the service at Nick and Jake’s (6325 Lewis Street Parkville MO. 64152).
