Gloria Matthiesen

Gloria Ellea Matthiesen, 82, of Gladstone, Missouri passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024. She was born in Piedras Negras, Mexico on July 7, 1941, to the late Leoplodo and Paulina Olvera Rodriguez. 

 Gloria will be missed most by her brother Julian (Lucy) Rodriguez, Sisters Arora Rodriguez, Maricella Rodriguez, Patricia Rodriguez; her nieces Bonnie (Nathan) Rodriguez, Shasha (Carlos) Rodriguez, Paulina (Jason) Rodriguez, Ashley Rodriguez, Alexandra Rodriguez, and nephews Julian Rodriguez and Peter Rodriguez. 

 She enjoyed reading, cooking nachos, rice, and enchiladas, she loved taking car rides to just about anywhere, especially the casino.  She also enjoyed her trips to Mexico to visit family and friends. 

 Visitation will be Thursday, February 15, from 11 AM until time of service at 12 PM all at the Terrace Park Funeral Home Lakeside Chapel. 801 NW 108^th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO. Interment will be in Terrace Park Cemetery with her husband Charles.
