Helen Lucille (Herron) Casebolt, 91, of Kansas City, MO, went home to be with the Lord April 14th, 2026 around 1:30 in the morning. She was born on January 2nd, 1935 in Maryville, MO to William & Edna (Bliss) Herron. She lived a life marked by faith, love and devotion to God and her family.

Helen married John William Casebolt, Sr on November 7th, 1952 in Waycross, GA. Although doctors told her she would never have any children, they grew to a family of eight adding six children.

Helen loved serving at her church in the Missionette organization for girls. In her spare time, she loved to read, embroider, and cross-stitch. She also enjoyed going to garage sales and thrift stores looking for trinkets and jewelry. She loved her small, little dogs!

She was preceded in death by her husband John William Casebolt and two children. She is survived by her six children; John Casebolt, David (Lisa) Casebolt, Carol (Michael) Calise, Peggy (Rick) Euwer, Ralph (Debbie – who preceded him in death) Casebolt, Helen (Kenneth – who preceded her in death) Riley; her 16 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and 11 great, great – grandchildren.

Services will be held at Terrace Park Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Monday, April 20th. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at 2:00pm, followed by burial.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in loving memory of Helen Casebolt to the Alzheimer’s Association at alz.org
