Jane Bowers, 81, of Smithville, MO passed away December 10, 2016. She was born July 26, 1935 in Henderson, Kentucky to the late Ray and Ada (Stevens) Crabtree.
Jane grew up in Kentucky and always considered it to be her home. She was an avid Arabian horse lover and spent many years showing them.
Jane is preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Bowers; son-in-law, Ron Young and 7 siblings.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Lendy Young, Kim (Ron Fehring) Andrew; 2 grandsons, Chuck (Terri) Martin, Kevin (Rebecca) Andrew and 2 great-granddaughters, Miri Andrew and Diem Andrew.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 14, 2016 from 12:30-1:30 PM at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 NW 108th Street (169 HWY and Shoal Creek Pkwy) Kansas City, MO. Services will follow at 1:30 PM at the Chapel. Burial in Terrace Park Cemetery
