John H. Allen, 55, of Kansas City, MO died Friday, December 1, 2017 at his home. He was born December 1, 1962, in Canadian, Texas to Dorothy Mae (Peterson) Allen and the late Robert Henry Allen.
John was a gentle man, with a great spirit and love for his family and friends. He was an electrical engineer for Shick Solutions for over 25 years; and was a faithful member of Jesus Church International.
He leaves behind his wife of 23 years, Cora (Weatherford) Allen, his son Zachary, daughter Sarah, his brother James (Julie) Allen, and sisters Loretta (Mike) Evans, Lynn (Bob) Kobby.
A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, December 16, 2017, from 1:00 PM until the time of service at 2:30 PM at Jesus Church International, 4214 NW Cookingham Dr. Kansas City, MO 64154.
