John Biswell

John Joseph "JJ" Biswell, 69, of Kansas City, passed away on August 12, 2022 after a battle with ALS. He was preceded in death by his parents Warren and Rilma "Bessie" Biswell, his brother Tim Biswell, 3 nephews and a niece. He leaves behind a daughter Teresa Biswell, a son Danny Biswell, 5 grandchildren, an ex-wife Sharilyn Williams, his siblings Kathy Ligget, Beverly Biswell, Warren Biswell, Trudy Kelley, George Biswell, Lloyd Biswell, Lavinia Biswell, 2 mother-in-laws and a large number of in-laws, nieces, nephews, great-nieces/nephews and even great great nieces/nephews.

One of John's favorite things was his very large family. He never seemed to miss a family event - be it a wedding, graduation, football game or a play. He also loved sports, especially the KC Royals and KC Chiefs. John also loved his work family. He worked for Standard Havens/BHA for 34 years and finished up his career with the City of Kansas City.

John loved and was loved by so many, birthdays just won't be the same without his call.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 19, with visitation starting at 10:00am, funeral service at 11:00am, and graveside service and reception following.
