Joyce Ilene Parton Price attended her early years of schooling at Rural Altamont Davies’s County, Missouri.  Achieving her GED in June 1994.  Joyce was a home maker for many years after working outside the home as a plastics handler for Owen’s Illinois Plastics Company of North Kansas City and an Office worker at Farmland Industries.  Joyce loved to play guitar and piano and sing with brother Ivan and her choir.  Joyce loved gardening with her husband, cake decorating, crafting quilts and sewing.  Her greatest love was spending time with her girls and grandchildren in their many adventures.   Most summers, they would take their boat and camper to enjoy and relax at the lake.

Joyce was a beacon of strength and a shining role model who had a profound love for her family.  She was a woman of many talents and passions. An avid genealogist, she spent countless hours tracing her family's roots, unearthing stories that connected generations and preserved her family's history for posterity. Her expertise in cake decorating brought joy to countless celebrations, her creations not only delighted the taste buds but also served as one testament to her creativity and attention to detail.

Quilting was another of Joyce's passions, her nimble fingers weaving together fabric and memories to create heirlooms cherished by her loved ones. She found joy in the rhythm and camaraderie of square dancing, enjoying it with her two daughters, creating cherished memories with each lively step.

Joyce and her husband shared a love of fishing, spending serene days by the lake, casting lines and enjoying each other's company. Their summer vacations at the lake became a tradition, eagerly anticipated by their grandchildren, who cherished the memories made during those idyllic days.

A consummate hostess, Joyce found joy in entertaining family and friends during the holidays, her home filled with warmth, laughter, and the aroma of her delicious cooking. Bird watching was another of Joyce's passions, but her favorite feathered friends were the hummingbirds whose vibrant colors and delicate movements never failed to captivate her.

Joyce was also an avid collector, carefully curating mementos and keepsakes that captured the essence of her family's history. She believed strongly in the importance of tradition and meticulously logged the fine details of photos and events, ensuring that every memory was preserved for future generations to cherish.

Above all else, Joyce treasured time spent with her family and friends. Whether it was making pancakes with peanut butter for her grandchildren, sharing stories, or simply basking in their presence, Joyce's love knew no bounds.

Joyce Price will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her vibrant spirit, infectious laughter, and boundless love will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.—(Nicole Adams, granddaughter).
