Juanita Marie Henderson, 94, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on December 19, 2025.
Juanita was born on December 3, 1931, in Ogden, Riley County, Kansas, to Fred Charles Schippert and Katherine Lichtenhan Schippert.
On November 12, 1949, she married Verl Henderson, and they shared nearly fifty years of marriage until his passing on December 11, 1999.
Juanita was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Her life was marked by steadfast love for her family, quiet strength, and faithful endurance through both joy and sorrow.
She worked at North Kansas City Hospital as a nurse technician for eighteen years. She was a faithful member of the church of Christ at Gladstone and Heartland in Kansas City, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Verl Henderson (December 11, 1999); her son, Fred Henderson (June 22, 1986); and her parents.
She is survived by her children: Linda Franckowiak (Al), Cindy Fisher (Tim), and Don Henderson (Melanie).
She is also survived by her grandchildren: Todd Hawkins, Paul Hawkins, Jeff Hawkins, Shawn Henderson, Eric Fisher, Shane Fisher, Brett Henderson, and Mariah Ramirez.
Juanita is further survived by her great-grandchildren: Quinn Hawkins, Sage Hawkins, Ava Hawkins, Jackson Hawkins, Dalton Hawkins, Kayla Evans, Quentin Evans, Ana Hawkins, Myla Hawkins, Tyler Henderson, Lucy Henderson, Grace Henderson, Ezra Henderson, Eva Ramirez, Rocco Ramirez, Remy Ramirez, and Emma Ramirez; and by one great-great-grandchild, Kaspian Millan.
She is also survived by three sisters Phyllis Wilson of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Ellen Backhus of Gladstone, Missouri; Bonnie Shrader of Abilene, Kansas, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the mission work of World Evangelism.
