Judy Gay Brockman, born November 24, 1945, of Commerce, Oklahoma, passed away on March 15, 2026, in Kansas City, Missouri.

Judy lived her life with love at the center of everything she did. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, a caring mother, a proud grandmother, and for her deep compassion for animals. Her kindness and gentle heart touched those who knew her, and her love for her family was unwavering.

Judy is survived by her son, Terry Scruggs (Christa) of Skiatook, Oklahoma; her stepson, Jon Brockman (Monica) of Liberty, Missouri; her grandchildren, Drew Scruggs, Allison Scruggs, Cooper Scruggs, Tyler Shore, Dylan Shore, Ryder Brockman, Dillion Brockman, Dune Brockman, Natasha Brockman, and Dakota Brockman; and her great‑grandchildren, Caden Barnett and Ezra Scruggs, who brought her great joy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Ruth Cox of Commerce, Oklahoma; her beloved husband, Robert Brockman of Kansas City, Missouri; her stepson, Aaron Brockman; and her granddaughter, Haley Scruggs.

Judy’s memory will live on through the love she shared, the lives she touched, and the compassion she showed every day. A memorial in honor of her life will be planned at a later date.
