Kaiden Alexander Edwards, born on March 6, 2007, in Kansas City, left this world far too soon on October 14, 2024. He was a vibrant young man whose light touched the lives of everyone around him. Kaiden was known for his hard work and entrepreneurial spirit, often taking on jobs such as mowing lawns and hanging Christmas lights to save up for his treasured motorcycle. His determination and hustle set an example for his peers, inspiring many with his work ethic.
Kaiden possessed a wonderful sense of humor that could brighten the gloomiest of days, and he was cherished as the best big brother by his sisters. He was an all-around good person who gained the affection of all who met him. Not one to sit still, Kaiden was always on the move, embodying a lively personality that made him a joy to be around.
His passions included a love for Star Wars, indulging in cheeseburgers, enjoying ice cream, playing basketball, and showing off his skills at the pool table. These interests showcased his youthful exuberance and the simple joys that brought him happiness.
Kaiden is survived by his loving mother, Regenia Reese; grandmothers, Marilyn Reese and Babette Edwards; sisters, Cora Lynn Logan, Shelby Logan, and Emma Edwards; uncles Shawn (Shawna) Reese, Mikey (Mallory) Edwards, and Chad Edwards; and aunt Amber (Terry) Irwin, as well as many other family members and friends. Each of them carries a piece of his spirit in their hearts, ever grateful for the time they shared with him.
As we remember Kaiden, we celebrate the laughter, love, and memories he gifted to all who were fortunate enough to know him. His legacy of determination, kindness, and humor will undoubtedly live on in the hearts of many.
The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m., Saturday October 19, at Terrace Park Funeral Home, with a funeral Service following at 11:00, interment at Terrace Park Cemetery at 12:00, located at 801 N.W. 108th Street Kansas City, Missouri 64155.
