Keri Kim Finley, 68, of Kansas City, MO passed away peacefully on September 30, 2020.
Kim was born on May 9, 1952 in Guymon, OK. He spent his childhood in Lindsay, OK and after the family moved, he attended high school in Kingfisher, OK. Kim graduated from college at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, OK where he received a Bachelor degree in Business.
Kim worked in the oil and gas industry for over 30 years and held the position of Project Coordinator in his last role at DCP Midstream in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Through his career, he and his family moved several times, working in Oklahoma, Texas, and Missouri.
When he wasn’t hard at work, Kim enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and traveling, visiting almost all 50 states, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with family.
Kim participated in the research to find a cure for Alzheimers as directed by the KU Alzheimers Disease Center. Kim and his family has been deeply impacted by the disease and his great hope was to have a part in finding a cure.
Kim is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Finley. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his mother, Norma Finley; wife of 31 years, Judy Finley; children, Dawn (Rob) Everett, Marcus Finley and Ryan Tosatto (Tiffany); grandchildren, Molly, Matthew, and Maggie Lakin, Tux Tosatto, and Ian and Ariel Everett; and brothers, Karol (Sherri) and Dean (Ann) Finley.
Services will be held on Saturday, October 3, at 2:00 p.m.at Terrace Park Chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the chapel capacity allows for up to 80 people.
