Linda Kay Rothwell

Linda Kay Rothwell, born on November 11, 1952, peacefully passed away on January 7, 2026. Having dedicated her working years as a compassionate massage therapist, Linda brought healing and comfort to countless individuals, leaving a lasting impact on those she served.

Growing up, Linda shared a special bond with her siblings, which fostered enduring relationships throughout her life. She took great joy in being a grandmother, and her grandchildren were a source of immense pride and affection for her. Known for her feisty spirit and resolve, Linda was never one to put up with any nonsense; her vibrant personality was as remarkable as her dedication to her family and friends.

A woman of faith, Linda found joy in the little things, particularly during the holiday season. She cherished the opportunity to decorate her home in celebration and welcomed her family with open arms to carry on the cherished tradition of togetherness. Linda enjoyed sharing meals with her longtime partner, Ray, with whom she created numerous memories over their 25 years together, always caring for one another with love and kindness.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Ona Turner; her husband, Jack Rothwell; and her son J.W. Rothwell.

She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Rothwell; brothers, Ronnie and Roger Turner; grandchildren, Trevor Anderes, Lindy Rothwell, Avery Rothwell, Jackson Rothwell, and Sawyer Rothwell; and her partner in life for 25 years Ray Lee.

Linda Kay Rothwell will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her, remembered not only for her nurturing spirit and strong character but also for the warmth and joy she brought into the lives of those around her. A celebration of life to honor Linda will be held at a later date.
