Mable June Crawley, born on May 30, 1940, in Eagleville, Missouri, passed away on November 3, 2025. She lived a life that was marked by love, dedication, and remarkable accomplishments.
Mable was an accomplished entrepreneur, having owned her own restaurant and motel, where her remarkable cooking skills delighted many. Her passion for hospitality made her not only a respected businesswoman but also a cherished figure in her community.
Mable was a devoted mother and grandmother, known for her nurturing spirit and unwavering love for her family. She was truly the best mom anyone could have ever asked for, always finding joy in spending family holidays at her home surrounded by her children and grandchildren. The warmth and kindness she offered were a testament to her deep affection for her family.
Mable had a personality that was both vibrant and unapologetically honest. She was known to be ornery at times and was never afraid to speak her mind, sharing her thoughts in a way that was both refreshing and genuine. This candidness combined with her loving nature created an inspiring presence to those fortunate enough to know her.
Her life was also enriched by her great faith. Mable loved the Lord profoundly and drew strength from her beliefs. Additionally, she found joy in life’s simple pleasures, including visits to the casino, where she enjoyed playing the slot machines, and indulging in her favorite Mexican food.
Mable shared 13 beautiful years of her life with Sam, who was the love of her life. Their partnership was a source of joy and companionship that she treasured immensely.
Mable's memory will be honored at a visitation on November 10, 2025, from noon to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM at the Terrace Park Funeral Home & Cemetery in Kansas City, Missouri. Interment will take place immediately after the service.
Mable June Crawley leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and cherished memories that will forever resonate in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
Mable is preceded in death by her parents Clifford and Mable Allen; her loving husband Samuel Crawley; her sons, Dale Pingleton, and Michael Alumbaugh; daughter, Vickie Mclamore, 2 grandsons Buddy Pingleton & Brandon Pingleton.
She is survived by her daughters; Toni (Ben) Geveshausen, and Susan (Carl) Laughlin; her son, William Pingleton; sister, Alice (Nole) Shepard; 17 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and 36 great-great-grandchildren, as well as many other family members and friends.
